Kerala state pollution control board (KSPCB) notified environmental public hearing for the waste-to-energy plant to be set up by GJ Eco Power Private Ltd next to the existing waste treatment facility at Brahmapuram. The hearing was conducted in accordance with the environment impact assessment (EIA) notification held at the collectorate conference hall on Monday June 10, 2019.
